IDMarkz is the most versatile conversion solution for InDesign documents. Not only can different InDesign formats be converted from one another, but other formats can also be created:

• InDesign> TIF, PNG, JPG, GIF

This is the Mac version. There is also a version for Windows (“IDMarkz SE“).

Without InDesign

Can you open InDesign documents without InDesign? Yes, with IDMarkz. The conversion software opens any InDesign documents, creates a preview of all pages and then offers an export option in various formats.

IDMarkz also immediately lists all elements and gives some information about the document. Together with the preview of all pages, this is almost like mini-preflighting. If fonts or images are missing, this is indicated immediately. A visual check based on the preview images does not reveal any details, but it is particularly helpful that this is possible without InDesign.

Convert standing sentence

IDMarkz is a one-time conversion tool for InDesign documents. For example, if you switch from InDesign to Affinity Publisher or another software, you do not have to convert all InDesign documents to IDML first, but can immediately convert original InDesign documents (INDD).

When an INDD file is opened, IDMarkz converts it to IDML. This is how you can get IDML documents without having InDesign. Anyone who, as a graphic designer or prepress company, has hundreds or thousands of documents in InDesign format, will hardly want to convert all of them with InDesign to IDML. IDMarkz is significantly easier and faster – and even more flexible.

When the INDD file is opened, IDMarkz interprets and converts it. A preview of all the pages is displayed, along with useful information about the document. The document can then be exported in a selectable format and (for example with Affinity Publisher) opened directly in the target software.

Markzware products are updated regularly. For example, if a new document version of InDesign is released, an update will be submitted as soon as possible. However, there is a difference between the reference versions: If you buy one Endless license during 2020, InDesign CC 2020 will be part of the solution. If Adobe releases an update to InDesign CC 2021, this update is no longer part of the endless license. At a Annual license however, all updates are always included, including an update to the next InDesign format if it appears within the subscription year.
