Markzware has just announced several updates to its conversion products. PDF2DTP and Q2ID now support Adobe InDesign CC 2020. Customers who have a current license can download the latest versions via the personal download link.

Markzware just released their newest version of PDF2DTP, which now can be used with Adobe InDesign CC 2019 as well. All subscribers can download this newest version directly through their personalized download URL. PDF2DTP is a conversion tool for Adobe InDesign.
With it, PDF-files can be converted in regular editibale InDesign files. Once installed, the plug-in allows the user to open PDF-files as if they were InDesign files. The opened file is then already converted to a fully editable InDesign file, which can be saved, enhanced and used just as any other InDesign file. New in this version is an option to include PDF comments in the conversion, as well as text-markings (strike through, underline, etc.) as can be created with PDF editors.
Also Markups like symbols can be converted and included in the InDesign document.

FlightCheck checks publishing documents for possible errors and thus ensures production.
Markzware just released an update for FlightCheck. The preflighting tool now also works with QuarkXPress 2018 documents and can check them as well as collect them for forwarding or archiving.
FlightCheck checks publishing documents for (possible) errors, creates reports and shows the pages and objects where errors occur. FlightCheck is an indispensable tool for checking incoming documents as well as for checking before output (transfer, exposure, PDF output). FlightCheck does not need original programs for checking, but analyzes documents directly.

Markzware is updating products for CC2018
All current Markzware publishing products have been adapted to InDesign CC2018. As a result, the plug-ins now also run under CC2018 or can read documents from this latest InDesign version without any problems.
Adjustments were made for the following products:

- PDF2DTP converts PDF documents to editable InDesign documents (InDesign plug-in)
- ID2Q imports InDesign documents directly into QuarkXPress (XPress XTension)

ID Util
With ID Util Markzware has brought an interesting and free utility for InDesign documents onto the market. The tool is available for Mac via the App Store.
ID Util reads InDesign documents and immediately shows some information. Documents can be browsed as a preview, they can be printed, exported and viewed - depending on the way information and previews for the document were saved. A full version of InDesign is not necessary for this.
